The open source software is widely accepted in today.The use of open source software triggered a series of contradictions.In this paper, started from the origin and meaning of open source software, this paper analyzed the compatibility and conflicts between open source software and intellectual property protection system.At the same time, through the study of a number of open source license agreements, the future development of intellectual property protection system of open source was predicted.
