Introduction of Journal of Modern Information  

Journal of Modern Information (formerly known as Information Knowledge) magazine is a comprehensive academic journal in the field of information resource management,  supervised by the Department of Science and Technology of Jilin Province;sponsored jointly by Jilin Institute of Science and Technical Information, and China Society of Scientific and Technical Information.

The magazine was founded in 1980 and publishes 12 issues per year. It focuses on reporting the latest progress in theoretical research and practical innovation in information studies that serve national strategic needs, pays attention to the development direction of the discipline, focuses on cutting-edge hot topics, builds an academic exchange platform with distinctive features, and promotes the development and growth of the academic community.

Journal of Modern Information is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the development and reform of China's information industry, closely following the theoretical and applied developments in the field of information studies, and timely tracking the developments and research hot spots in domestic and foreign information research. Journal of Modern Information is a source journal in CSSCI, a national core journal in Chinese, evaluated as an A-level comprehensive journal in the field of Chinese humanities and social sciences by AMI,reprints in photocopied newspapers and periodicals key source journal,a core journal in Chinese science and technology (social science volume), and a core academic journal in China by RCCSE. It has been included in the international database Scopus in 2023 and has received multiple awards as an excellent academic journal with international influence in China.The journal is fully collected in databases such as CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP, and full texts are openly accessible on the journal's official website.
