According to the principles of both security and openness,both primacy and maturity,both effectiveness and useability,a sustainable water resource management information system based on GIS and web technology in Changchun City.The system platform includes hardware conditions,software environment,web support,and managers.The master databases include basic database,methodology database,model database,dynamic database,map database,and multimedia database.The subsystems include system control subsystem,data maintainance subsystem,system management subsystem,information inquiry subsystem,dynamic monitoring subsystem,analysis & prediction subsystem,and information issue subsystem.The application of the system will turn urban water resource management from empirical management,qualitative management to scientific management,quantitative management,provide stategic evidence for construction of water-saving city.
