Patent is the world’s most important technological information,the analysis of which provide decision-making for the development of technology,product and service,and also provides valuable information for technology strategy and competitor evaluation.Based on China ginseng industry patent analysis,including the national and provincial distribution analysis,trend analysis, technology life cycle analysis,applicant analysis,IPC composition analysis,and the inventor IPC regional composition analysis,which can provide countermeasures and suggestions to protect and utilize patents in ginseng industry,and provinces strategic decision-making for the industry development.

The paper introduces 12 types of patent information analysis methods,illustrates the application of patent information analysis methods from three viewpoints of competitive strategy of the government,decision-support of local government and local high-tech industries,and gives some suggestions according to the current situation of patent in Dongguan.

In the literature resource construction process,traditional library,usually uses proprietary MARC format.However this kind of proprietary systems only can be read by library systems.The conversion MARC and XML makes the providing of WWW MARC information possible.This paper discusses the principle and conversion design of the MARC which is based on XML design,and gives an example of MARC described by XML,analyzes the advantages of MARC described by XML.

For the new concept"ubiquitous services model",the author briefly describes its development and universality and then makes a detailed and prospective analysis on the model of library ubiquitous service from four aspects:application-system integration,services integration,expertise integration and alliance cooperation service.And finally,the author explores the opportunities and challenges of this service model of present and future.

The collection construction of university library resources is the main safeguard of the service for teaching and science research.OAJ,which can be used by the university libraries,will be far-reaching significant for the collection construction.The paper makes an objective analysis on DOAJ from different angles.The findings indicate that the future development of OAJ is very optimistic and OAJ can be contained by library resources as an important part, especially the subjects with fewer library resources.

After analyzing the reader borrow behavior and Markov prediction models,this paper introduces the design and implementation of book recommendation system based on Markov model.This method is based on characters of reader borrow behavior,depends on statistical principle,and effectively on reader borrowed Records.The experiment results show that this model can give us satisfying result.

Risk pre-warning is a key issue in supply chain risk management process.This paper defines the basic attributes of supply chain risk from risk frequency and intensity,and divides supply chain risks into four categories:controllable uncertainties,operational risks,disruption risks and uncontrollable disastrous risks.Then,we use electronic data interchange(EDI)system that links each firms of supply chain to establish risk pre-warning system,and we explain the primary components and flows of risk identification,risk assessment,risk analysis and risk treatment.Lastly,we employ a case study to describe the constructed supply chain pre-warning system.It shows that EDI system makes supply chain risk pre-warning establish on the basis of information sharing and dynamic interactive decision-making,and it is beneficial for the efficiently manage supply chain risks.

In this paper,web-based survey is conducted on online information literacy instruction(OILI)of 45 aro-forest universities all over the country.The status and problems are analyzed.Advice and strategies to reconstruct domestic aro-forset universities’ OILI are put forward,such as improve platform building,deepen information literacy general education,promote course-integrated instruction and strengthen cooperation and sharing,etc.

The author does an empirical research of mobile library’s user satisfaction by taking an example of Guangdong Mobile Library to study mobile library’s servie quality.This paper studies Guangdong Mobile Library’s user satisfaction with quantitative evaluation,on basis of which the author uses SPSS to do satisfaction variation analysis of different users.The author finds out that studing users’s satisfaction from different users’s view could provides some more objective and comprehensive suggestions in improving mobile library’s service quality.

With the development of IT and information society,there has been a big challenge to information management and information system majors,which is that there are variety of courses but without enough practical and innovation capability of student.Many graduates don’t match to the projected aim to be advanced professionals.Based on the arrangement of specialized courses and knowledge structure,this paper points out the problems and proposes that how to set new practice courses based on the existing knowledge structure and practice courses to improve innovation capability of student.

In order to evaluate the quality of the electronic journals published on Internet,this paper proposes the qualitative attribute evaluation approach.According to the respective characteristics of the different qualitative attributes,the appropriate linguistic evaluation sets are designed for assessing the journals.The basic linguistic evaluation set is designed,based on which various linguistic evaluation terms from different sets are all transformed into the fuzzy sets over it.Thus,various linguistic evaluation terms from different sets are comparable,and further integrated for calculating the overall values of the electronic journals.In addition,the rankings of the electronic journals can be obtained as well as their grades assigned.Finally,an example is used for illustrating the proposed approach.
