With the widely spreading application of Web2.0 and the ongoing popularity of the new social network medias,libraries with the morphology of scarce resources have become data-intensive industries,and data based information service has been transformed as the core of the information services with users.This paper analyzed the problems of data resources,technology and evaluation criteria for personalized recommendation on library,and proposed some solutions for challenging questions.

From three dimensions of Wuli,Shili and Renli(WSR)system theory,it builds knowledge management performance evaluation index system,and uses AHP method to determine index's weight.Based on triangular fuzzy number,the linguistic variables are used to evaluate and analyze knowledge management performance.Finally,an oil service companies is selected as an example to demonstrate knowledge management performance evaluation process,and the analysis of the evaluation results in detail.The results can improve knowledge management performance.

In digital processing of paper books,input of metadata is required.However manual entry is heavy,inefficient.To solve this problem,presented an automatic metadata extraction method to scanned books based on machine learning.First,defined metadata elements composed of description,management and structure element.Then for the data source,that was DjVu XML document,analysised format,structure features of scanned page.To line as initial features vector,used rule-based and supervised machine learning to extract metadata.Experiments show that the algorithm can achieve a fine accuracy and recall rate,while significantly improves the efficiency of digital process of collection.

News articles have become an important data source for social scientists,who desire to analyze data hidden in a collection of articles.This paper developed an interactive visual analytics tool for news exploration(NewsVAT)for such users.The architecture of NewsVAT included five main components:crawler,preprocessing,analysis,visualization engine and an interface for news exploration.NewsVAT took keywords and seed websites as input,and outputs animations reflecting the content of these documents.It provided time series visualization,spatial visualization,co-occurrence network,etc.

A citation analysis has been conducted based on collection of papers on worldwide Arctic research from WoS database.The half-life of these Arctic papers has also been calculated.Citation analysis has been made from the aspects of publication year,subjects,regions,affiliations and so on,in order to find out the key organizations,core scholars and main research fields.Chinese Arctic research has been studied as a special example.

This paper used 23 keywords with related to IT capabilities to collect 2640 articles records from the Web of Science.With the help of information visualization software citespaceⅡ we painted knowledge network diagram and study of relevant literature,then explored the evolution path of IT capability study and sum up its characteristic;Combined with the cited term figure,this paper analyzed information technology research focus in the research field;the burst term was used to determine the research edge.

The article used link analysis method to study the influnce of the 30 network community in China.The author used Yahoo!and Bing search engine to obtain the total number,the total number of links,number of external links and PR value of 30 pages of the online community site,calculated the Web Impact Factor,and used gray relational analysis method to sort the previously mentioned link indicator data.The results showed that:The influence of 30 online communities could be ranked as follows:51.com,Tencent meager,Tencent blog,Tencent Forum,and Netease microblogging,Netease blog,Sina blog,watercress network,etc.Finally,by comparing Yahoo!and Bing search engine for link data to verify the two major search engines for Web link analysis is feasible,but the Yahoo!search engine statistical data analysis could be more accurate.

The thesis investigated and analysed the variation tendency of the number of patent applications,patent applications structure,the distribution of technological innovation between 1986 to 2012.The results showed that:(1)Since 1986,the number of patent applications continued to grow.The growth was slow before 2004,but from 2005 to 2008 and from 2010 to 2012,the amount of applications increased rapidly in Zhuhai.(2)The amount of utility models patent applications was significantly higher than the amount of invention patent and design patent applications in Zhuhai and the proportion of non-service patent applications in Zhuhai was below the national average.Based on the results above,the author suggested that:(1)In order to form the core technology competitiveness,the government can use patent policy to guide the optimization of industrial structure and stimulate the leading enterprises to build innovation capability.(2)Through making use of policies to drive enterprises,universities and other academic organizations to enhance the capability of independent innovation.(3)Patent policy system should focus on promoting the"quality"of the patent applications on the basis of the"quantity".
