《Journal of Modern Information rated as 'RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journal (A)'
Recently, the "Chinese Academic Journal Evaluation Research Report (7th Edition)" jointly developed by the Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation of Wuhan University (RCCSE), Wuhan University Library, China Academy of Science and Education Evaluation of Hangzhou Dianzi University (CASEE), and the Chinese Science and Education Evaluation Network (www.nseac.com) has released its selection notice. "Journal of Modern Information" was rated as "RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journal (A)", ranking 11th among 70 library, information, and documentation journals, rising by 2 places from the previous evaluation year, and once again selected as Grade A.
The RCCSE Chinese Academic Journal Evaluation System is one of the seven widely recognized academic journal evaluation systems in China. In the "Chinese Academic Journal Evaluation Research Report (7th Edition)", a total of 6,622 Chinese academic journals were identified and included, among which there are 391 Chinese authoritative academic journals (Grade A+, with a comprehensive score in the top 5%), and Chinese core academic journals (Grade A, with a comprehensive score between 5% and 20%) and Chinese core academic journals (Grade A-, with a comprehensive score between 20% and 30%) totaling 1,942. Currently, more than 2,000 publishing institutions and over 800 scientific research management departments have adopted the evaluation results of the "Report" as an important reference tool for the assessment of journal quality and the statistics of scientific research achievements.
