Introduction of the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Modern Information

Zhongbao Wei,PhD, director and editor-in-chief of Modern Information and Industrial Technology Economics magazines and the secretary and director of the Communist Party Committee of Jilin Science and Technology Information Institute. Engaged in scientific and technological management for a long time, Wei carried out a series of theoretical and practical work in scientific and technological think tanks, and scientific and technological information services.

(1) Scientific and technological think tank work. Initiated the construction of the "Jilin Science and Technology Information Think Tank" and hired 56 well-known domestic experts as the first group of experts. Completed 21 issues of "Science and Technology Situation Report", among which 4 reports were adopted by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. Completed more than 20 decision-making analysis reports such as "Jilin Province Annual Development Report of Science and Technology" and "Jilin Province Annual Development Report of High-tech Enterprises".

(2)Technology literature resource service. Responsible for the construction of Jilin Province's technology literature service platform, which won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Library Literature Center's annual service.

(3) Science popularization work. Responsible for undertaking activities such as science popularization speech contests, science popularization micro-video contests, and scientific experiments exhibitions, among which 5 contestants of the science popularization speech contest won national outstanding awards.

(4) Scientific and technological journal work. Held the "First Jilin Science and Technology Journal Helps Innovation and Development Summit Forum".
