Introduction of the Executive Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Modern Information

Zhuo Ma, Executive Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Modern Information magazine, holds a PhD and is an associate researcher. Ma is the director of the Information Theory and Method Research Center of the Jilin Institute of Scientific and Technical Information, as well as the director of the editorial department. Ma is also a council member of the Science and Technology Information Society of Jilin Province, deputy secretary-general of Science and Technology Journal Workers Association of Jilin Province, and a high-level talent in Jilin Province (Class D). Ma has a long history of engagement in scientific and technological information research, as well as scientific and technological journal editing and publishing. Ma has undertaken over 10 national and provincial-level research projects, published over 30 academic papers, and obtained two software copyrights and one utility model patent.

(1) Undertook the overall design and implementation of Jilin Science and Technology Innovation Management Service Platform Phase II Construction project under the Provincial Science and Technology Development Plan, which won the third prize of Jilin Province Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022.

(2) Ma is responsible for the overall design of the Jilin Science and Technology Plan Project New Expert Database System Development project under the Provincial Science and Technology Development Plan.

(3) Undertook the scientific and technological information analysis work of the key project of the National Social Science Fund, "Research on Cross-Dimensional Mining and Recommendation of Scientific and Technological Information Based on Composite Data."

(4) As the Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Director of the Editorial Department of the Journal of Modern Information magazine, the journal was selected as a CSSCI source journal in 2017, 2019, and 2021. It won the China Humanities and Social Sciences AMI Core Journal Award in 2018 and 2022, was selected as an excellent academic journal with international influence in China in 2016, 2017, and 2022, and was selected as a Chinese Science and Technology Core Journal for five consecutive years from 2018 to 2022.
